Homeschool desk
G worked on this desk for about 14 months. Woodworking is not his full time job and he likes to do a really good job. I came up with the idea (after reading several homeschooling blogs,) that it would be great if each student had a row of drawers. Each drawer would be for one subject. It helps alleviate the "when are we done?" and just helps everyone stay organized. We only have two official students this year, but a 3 year old gets his own set of drawers and the desk spaces wouldn't work out with only three, so a fourth was built for extra supplies. So 8 drawers times 4 rows equals 32 handmade dove-tailed drawers. They're gorgeous and very functional!
